Knee Walkers Canada!!
Last week I was doing some last minute birthday gift shopping (oops!) and I was being helped by a man who had recently broken his foot. He was extremely helpful but i could tell that lugging around on his crutches was very exhausting, and he had to do this for 8 hours! I can't imagine having the pads of crutches dig into my armpits for that long!
This is an example where the using a Knee Walker is a MUST.
Another example comes with one our our founders. He is a resident doctor. When he injured his foot he still was needed in the hospital to help treat patients. Walking from room to room with crutches was not working for him and thats when he reached out to find a better solution. He found the Knee Walker! He was better equipped to help patients and could do so in a timely manner thanks to the Knee Walker.
So when it comes to maintaining your productivity levels at work or school when injured, look no further than Knee Walkers Canada!
Seeing is believing.
To really understand how a Knee Walker can improve your mobility during your injury it is important that you see the device in person and give it a try. That's why we are partnering with fracture clinics across the GTA to provide sample Knee Walkers for patients to try.

This is a Knee Walker!
Since starting my employment at Knee Walkers Canada I have had a hard time describing exactly the products that we deal with. I often described it as "an alternative to crutches", but this leaves much to the imagination.
So what EXACTLY is a Knee Walker?
A Knee Walker is a medical device intended for injuries occurring below the knee. The user places the injured leg on the knee pad and propels forward with the other leg. Direction of travel is controlled through handle bars and a brake is present for safety.
For our customers we have recently created a rental manual that will answer all of your concerns or questions about the knee walker.
Flying can be stressful; from packing to security through takeoff and landing. Now imagine you are doing all of this on crutches. Struggling to hop up the steps to enter the airport. The pads of the crutches slowly chewing away at your armpits as you wait in the security line. But you made it. You are finally through and you are at your gate.
"flight ___ Has been changed to gate A__, thank you for your cooperation"
Your gate has been changed, and its all the way across the airport. You better get some bandaids and an icepack for your armpits.
You decided you try out a knee walker. You easily rolled up to the airport. You just sat around while in line for security. Rolled up to your gate. And the gate change "pftt" you got this.
Airports aren't crutch friendly. You will often have to travel long distances and be standing for extended periods of time. With a knee walker you can remove the added stress of navigating the airport with an injury and make your travels more comfortable.
Most airlines will even assist you and bring your knee walker to the gate once you arrive at your destination.
So if you are travelling with an ankle or foot injury, try a knee walker today!
